SIKA diesel engine remote reading dial thermometers are an excellent solution for liquid and gas temperature measurements in large diesel engines, such as Marine propulsion or diesel generators. Depending on the display range, they are suitable for measuring exhaust gas, cooling water, lubricating oil or pressurized air temperature. They last a long time and do not require an external power source.
Dial thermometers of models 311, 321, and 331 are capillary thermometers consisting of a narrow annular case, capillary, and immersion tube. Casings, capillaries, immersion tubes and connectors are made of stainless steel. All equipment complies with EN 13190 and meets Class 1 requirements.
The nominal sizes of these devices are 80 and 100 mm. The narrow housing is permanently sealed (IP65) and is standard filled with silicone oil to prevent vibration.
The display can be easily read with optional wall mount brackets, front/rear mounting flanges, or clamping brackets. The capillary leads to the actual measuring point and connects the expansion vessel and display device. These versions of the capillaries are protected from mechanical damage by standard stainless steel spiral protection.
